The delegation of CR Belouizdad arrived in the Tanzanian capital of Dar es Salaam on Wednesday morning, ahead of the fifth round match in the Champions League group stage.
According to a statement released by the Belouizdad club management on their official Facebook page, the club’s delegation landed at Julius Nyerere Airport in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, after a nine-hour journey.
The statement further clarified that CR Belouizdad will be staying at the Serena Hotel during their time in Tanzania, which is approximately 15 minutes away from the stadium where the match against Young Africans will take place.
It’s worth noting that the Algerian representatives in the Champions League, CR Belouizdad, currently occupy the second position in Group D after four rounds of matches, trailing behind the group leaders Al Ahly of Egypt by just one point, with Al Ahly having amassed six points.
In the upcoming fixture, CR Belouizdad will be hosting their Ghanaian opponent, Medeama SC, in the final round of the group stage matches on March 2nd.
