Bayer Leverkusen target PSG teenage defender David Boly ahead of January transfer window
Bayer Leverkusen are interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain youngster David Boly and could make an approach for the 17-year-old defender during the January transfer window, according to L’Équipe.
The German club are reportedly prepared to submit a bid for the right-back, who has attracted interest from several other teams in France and abroad.
However, Boly currently prefers to remain at PSG, where the European champions are working to secure his future with a first professional contract.
Boly makes Champions League breakthrough
The French defender recently made his UEFA Champions League debut for PSG, coming off the bench and scoring in their 6-0 victory over Villarreal.
His first appearance for the club’s senior side came last season during a Coupe de France victory over Fontenay, before he made his Ligue 1 debut this campaign.
Boly is regarded as one of the brightest prospects emerging from PSG’s academy, with his performances attracting attention from clubs across Europe.
Leverkusen face competition for teenager
According to L’Équipe, Bayer Leverkusen are among the clubs monitoring the 17-year-old and are ready to make a move in January.
Several other clubs, both in France and abroad, are also interested in signing the defender.
Despite the growing interest, Boly’s preference at present is to continue his development at Paris Saint-Germain.
