Frankfurt linked with Nottingham Forest forward Arnaud Kalimuendo

French forward Arnaud Kalimuendo is the subject of transfer interest from Frankfurt, with the Nottingham Forest player linked with a return to the Bundesliga club.

Kalimuendo, 24, spent part of last season on loan at Frankfurt after joining from Forest in January 2026. The loan ended in June, when he returned to the Premier League club, but Frankfurt are now again being mentioned in connection with the centre-forward.

The former Paris St-Germain player has made four Premier League appearances for Forest this season without scoring, starting none of those matches. He also played once in the EFL Cup, where he started.

Kalimuendo joined Forest from Rennes in August 2025 in a deal worth €30m. His current contract runs until 30 June 2030, meaning any move would involve a transfer fee rather than a free transfer.

He developed at PSG and won the French league title with the club in the 2021-22 season before moving to Rennes. Kalimuendo also helped France finish runners-up at the 2024 Olympic Games.

There has been no confirmation that a deal has been agreed, and the reported link remains a rumour. Kalimuendo remains a Nottingham Forest player while his long-term contract continues to run through to 2030.
