Bayern Munich give injury return dates for Saibari, Gnabry, Musiala and Luis Diaz

Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl has provided an update on when the club’s four injured players are expected to return to training.

Ismael Saibari, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala and Luis Diaz are currently sidelined, with Eberl outlining different recovery timelines for the quartet.

“Saibari will return to training within three or four months, while Gnabry will be back after the end of this year,” Eberl told reporters.

He added: “Musiala and Luis Diaz will return to team training during the international break.”

Bayern are preparing to face Atletico de Madrid at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano on Wednesday in the fourth round of the Champions League.

The German side are 14th in the Champions League table, with five points from their opening three matches.

The teams finishing in the top eight will qualify directly for the last 16. Those placed from ninth to 24th will enter a play-off for a place in the last 16.
