Al Nassr warned they could fall to fourth in Roshn Saudi League title race

Mohammed Al-Deayea, one of Al Hilal’s leading former players, has predicted that Al Nassr will drop to fourth place in the Roshn Saudi League and fail to retain their title.

Al Nassr won last season’s competition and are currently attempting to remain among the leading teams as the battle for first place intensifies. They sit second on 28 points, level with leaders Al-Qadsiah but behind them on goal difference.

However, former Al Hilal and Saudi Arabia goalkeeper Al-Deayea believes Al Nassr’s current form will not be enough to secure another league championship.

“I believe Al Nassr’s current level will not qualify them to win the Roshn Saudi League, and in my view they will finish fourth,” he said in televised comments.

The prediction suggests Al-Deayea expects Al Nassr to lose their place among the top two as the season progresses, with the increasing competition potentially pushing them down the table in the coming rounds.

Al Nassr are aiming to continue their positive results and defend the title they won last season. Their supporters will now be watching to see whether the team can respond on the pitch and prove Al-Deayea’s assessment wrong.
