Bayern Munich linked with Monaco forward Paris Brunner
Paris Brunner, the German and DR Congo centre-forward currently at Monaco, has been linked with a move to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
Brunner is 20 and joined Monaco’s Ligue 1 set-up before attracting interest from Bayern, who are considering a potential deal for the forward. His current market value is listed at €15 million, giving an indication of the financial scale of any transfer discussions.
The reported interest comes with Brunner under contract at Monaco until 30 June 2028. That agreement means Bayern would be expected to negotiate a permanent transfer rather than wait for the player to approach the end of his contract.
Brunner’s position as a centre-forward would place him among the attacking options being assessed by Bayern, although the rumour does not indicate that an agreement has been reached between the clubs or with the player.
The proposed switch would see Brunner move from Ligue 1 to the Bundesliga and return to Germany, where Bayern remain one of the leading clubs in the domestic market. Any move would depend on Monaco’s willingness to consider an offer and Bayern’s valuation of the 20-year-old.
For now, Brunner remains a Monaco player with two years remaining on his contract.
