Leeds consider Porto’s Nigerian left-back Zaidu Sanusi for Premier League move
Nigerian left-back Zaidu Sanusi is being linked with a move from Porto to Leeds, with the 29-year-old named as a potential arrival for the Premier League club.
Sanusi is currently with Porto in Liga Portugal, where he is under contract until 30 June 2027. The reported link would see Leeds pursue a player whose current deal still has time to run, rather than one approaching an immediate free transfer.
The defender’s listed position is left-back, the role in which he has been identified in connection with a possible move to England. His reported market value is €3m, providing an indication of the valuation attached to the Porto player as the rumour develops.
The proposed switch would take Sanusi from Portugal’s top flight to the Premier League and make Leeds his first club in England. The information surrounding the link does not establish that an agreement has been reached or that a formal transfer has been completed.
The rumour is dated 29 October 2026. Unless the situation changes, Sanusi remains a Porto player, with his contract continuing through the end of June 2027.
