Al Masry have reached an agreement with head coach Ahmad Samy to end his time in charge of the club.
The decision follows the team’s 1-1 draw with National Bank of Egypt in the eighth round of the league, played at Suez Stadium.
Samy took responsibility at the start of September but Al Masry have not won a match under his management.
The team’s latest result was their third consecutive draw, following stalemates against El Qanah and Abu Qir Fertilizers before the match with National Bank of Egypt.
Those results came after two defeats against Montakhab El Suez, Petrojet and Al Ittihad Al Sakandary.
Former Al Masry manager Nabil El Kouki is among the candidates being considered as Samy’s replacement, while another Egyptian coach is also under consideration.
El Kouki left his position as manager of CS Sfaxien several days ago after taking charge of the Tunisian side for seven matches.
Al Masry are 11th in the league table with nine points.
