Bayern Munich linked with Borussia Monchengladbach teenager Wael Mohya
Germany-Morocco attacking midfielder Wael Mohya, currently with Borussia Monchengladbach, has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich.
The 17-year-old has made seven Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He has started 57% of those matches and played 58% of the available league minutes.
Mohya joined Monchengladbach’s senior team from the club’s under-19 side in July 2025, having previously progressed through the club’s youth system. He was part of the Monchengladbach under-17 side that won the German Under-17 Bundesliga title in the 2024-25 season.
The reported interest would involve a move between two Bundesliga clubs, with Bayern also listed as the prospective destination league. Mohya’s current market value is €17m, highlighting the financial scale of any potential deal involving the teenager.
Born in Mettmann on 31 December 2008, Mohya is eligible to represent both Germany and Morocco. He plays in attacking midfield and is listed as comfortable using either foot.
Monchengladbach remain his current club, where he has established a first-team presence during the 2026-27 campaign. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the move to Bayern remains a rumour.
