Adama Traoré is hoping to earn his first starting appearance of the season for Deportivo La Coruña after improving his fitness and making an impact from the bench.

According to AS, the winger has worked to regain his physical condition after arriving without completing his pre-season preparation. He has used recent breaks to improve his fitness and strengthen his case for a place in the starting line-up.

Traoré’s pace, power and dribbling ability have made him an increasingly dangerous attacking option for Deportivo.

Traoré Remains Patient

Despite his desire to start, the winger has stressed the importance of remaining patient and continuing to work hard.

“Of course I want to play from the start, but stay calm, be patient and do hard work,” Traoré said in an interview with AS.

He has featured in seven league matches, accumulating 205 minutes, but has yet to start a game this season.

Chance Against Osasuna

Deportivo have gone six league matches without a win, increasing the possibility of changes to the starting line-up.

Traoré could have an opportunity to make his first start when Deportivo face Osasuna on 2 November.
