Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Juventus tracking Ajax teenager Abdellah Ouazane
At 17, Abdellah Ouazane is attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Juventus reportedly monitoring the Ajax Amsterdam midfielder.
The interest, reported by Ekrem Konur, underlines the growing reputation of a player regarded as one of the promising young talents developing in European football.
Ouazane’s position at Ajax could make any potential transfer difficult, however. The midfielder is under contract with the Dutch club until June 2028, leaving Ajax Amsterdam in a strong position should any of his suitors make a formal approach.
He has already gained experience at senior international level with Morocco and also holds Dutch nationality. That dual connection gives him a distinctive background as he continues his progression in the European game.
According to Transfermarkt, Ouazane’s current market value is estimated at 8 million euros. It remains unclear whether the interest from Chelsea, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Juventus will develop into concrete moves in the coming months, or whether Ajax will retain the teenager.
Ouazane’s progress comes as Ajax Amsterdam prepare to play Sparta Rotterdam in the 10th matchday of the Dutch championship.
The published betting odds for the fixture list Ajax as favourites at 1.41. A draw is priced at 4.60, while a Sparta Rotterdam victory is listed at 5.00.
