Jarell Quansah is attracting interest from several European heavyweights after impressing at Bayer Leverkusen, where the England international has established himself as a key figure in the defence under head coach Carles Martinez.

The 23-year-old has taken on a new challenge this season, operating primarily as a right-back after previously featuring predominantly in central defence. His versatility and performances have reportedly caught the attention of Liverpool, Real Madrid and Arsenal, according to BILD.

Quansah joined Leverkusen from Liverpool in 2025 for a reported €35 million and has continued to develop his reputation as one of England’s promising young defenders.

Despite speculation surrounding his future, the defender insists his focus remains firmly on his current club.

“I just have to concentrate on playing this season. I want to play as many games as possible and try to improve. I can’t do much more than that,” Quansah said.

Liverpool remain particularly well placed should they decide to pursue a reunion with their former academy graduate. The Merseyside club reportedly have a €70 million buy-back option that can be exercised by June 15, 2027, giving them a contractual advantage over rival suitors.

Leverkusen now turn their attention to Sunday’s Bundesliga trip to Hoffenheim, where Quansah will hope to help his side secure another victory and maintain their strong run of form.
