Wydad AC set to appoint Nasreddine Nabi as new head coach

Nasreddine Nabi has arrived in Casablanca to complete the final details of his appointment as Wydad AC’s new head coach.

The Tunisian will be joined by a strengthened technical team as he takes on the challenge at the Moroccan club. Among his trusted staff will be fitness coach Firas Zghal, who briefly worked with Kaizer Chiefs during their European pre-season in 2025.

Nabi’s appointment has been eagerly anticipated by Wydad supporters and is expected to bring a fresh sense of momentum as the club aims to return quickly to the top of both domestic and continental football.
