Arab Contractors confirm Al Ahly can recall Mohamed Abdel Nasser in January

Arab Contractors have confirmed that Al Ahly are entitled to bring back young playmaker Mohamed Abdel Nasser when the January transfer window opens.

Abdel Nasser has signed his contract with Al Ahly and will officially join the club from January. He is currently playing for Arab Contractors, who have been informed that the Egyptian champions may request his return during the window.

“Al Ahly signed Mohamed Abdel Nasser from Arab Contractors and loaned him back to us,” Mohamed Adel, the club’s football supervisor, told Al Shams 2.

“If Al Ahly ask for him, they have the right to recover the player in January,” he added.

FilGoal.com previously reported when Al Ahly would pay the first instalment of the transfer fee agreed with Arab Contractors.

The two clubs reached an agreement for Abdel Nasser’s transfer for 28 million Egyptian pounds, with additional benefits included in the deal.

Abdel Nasser operates as an attacking midfielder for Arab Contractors. He was promoted from the club’s youth ranks to the first team in January 2024.

Since making that step up, he has played 41 matches for Arab Contractors, scoring three goals and providing two assists.

The midfielder was also called up to the Egypt youth national team under manager Osama Nabih last year. He has made one international appearance, featuring against the United Arab Emirates in a match Egypt won 5-1.
