Mamelodi Sundowns sign Amajita captain Lazola Maku after Siwelele departure

Mamelodi Sundowns have signed South African midfielder Lazola Maku after he became a free agent following his exit from Betway Premiership club Siwelele FC.

The 19-year-old, who captains the South Africa Under-20 side, recently ended his time with Siwelele and was left without a club.

Sundowns have now confirmed Maku’s arrival, making him the latest addition to the Masandawana squad.

Maku’s move brings a swift end to his spell without a club and sees the Amajita captain join one of South Africa’s leading teams.
