Al Ahly renew interest in Oussama Noureddine as five Premier League clubs track Geny Catamo

Al Ahly have revived their interest in Maghreb de Fes midfielder Oussama Noureddine at the request of head coach Hussein Ammouta, with the Cairo club hoping to sign the Morocco player during the winter transfer window.

The Egyptian side want to strengthen their midfield ahead of domestic and continental commitments. According to Maghreb-Foot, Al Ahly’s management has already contacted Noureddine’s representatives to assess whether a deal is possible.

However, the move depends on the future of Reda Slim. His expected departure in January would free up a place in the squad and allow Al Ahly to progress with the operation.

Monza forward chooses club development

Monza striker Amir Abou Elezz has spoken about his current situation after making progress with the club’s senior group.

The young forward confirmed his rise into the first-team set-up in comments to Maghreb-Foot. He also expressed satisfaction with that development and addressed his absence from Egypt U17’s squad for the Gulf Cup.

Hazeem Bakre joins FC Jurong

FC Jurong have completed the signing of Hazeem Bakre, who was a free agent.

The Singaporean club believe the player’s experience and versatility will strengthen their squad for the rest of the season. His arrival is intended to add depth to the team as Jurong aim to improve their position in the table.

Five Premier League clubs monitor Geny Catamo

Geny Catamo’s performances for Sporting CP have attracted interest from five Premier League clubs.

The Mozambique winger has delivered consistently for the Lisbon club over the past three seasons in both Liga Portugal and the Champions League. He has also established himself with Mozambique, scoring 16 goals in 44 appearances for the Mambas.

Sunderland have made the 25-year-old one of their priority targets, according to Hooligan Soccer. Representatives of the Black Cats attended matches to assess Catamo’s athletic and technical qualities in person.

Tottenham, Nottingham Forest, Brentford and Brighton are also closely following the player. Scouts from all five Premier League clubs watched his recent European appearances against Galatasaray and RC Lens, as well as the league match against SC Braga, to assess his potential.

Catamo is valued at 35 million euros by Transfermarkt.

Rangers delay decision on Badredine Bouanani

Badredine Bouanani’s future at Glasgow Rangers will not be decided immediately.

The Algeria winger is on loan from Stuttgart, but Rangers have postponed a decision on whether to activate his purchase option, reported to be worth 15.5 million pounds sterling, or about 18.4 million euros.

The Scottish club are expected to wait until the end of the season before making a final decision. They want more time to assess Bouanani’s performances rather than committing to the deal as early as January, according to Ekrem Konur.
