CAF Champions League: Teungueth FC and Colombe Sportive meet in Dakar for evenly matched first leg
Teungueth FC host Colombe Sportive in the first leg of their CAF Champions League second preliminary round tie in Dakar on Sunday, 18 October 2026.
The match will be played at Stade Leopold Sedar Senghor, with kick-off scheduled for 17:00 GMT. Teungueth FC coach Malick Daf is targeting a two-goal advantage to take into the return fixture against a determined Colombe Sportive side.
The Senegalese club reached this stage after eliminating FC Canchungo in the previous round. However, the Rufisque-based team face a difficult challenge against the Cameroon champions, who overcame Stade Malien on penalties in the first preliminary round.
Colombe Sportive have travelled to Senegal with their full squad. The club’s preparations have been affected by a lack of match sharpness following the postponement of its Senegalese championship, but Richard Towa’s players will look to make the most of the away leg before the tie returns to Cameroon.
The second match is scheduled for 25 October 2026 in Yaounde, where the sides will contest the decisive fixture for a place in the next stage of the CAF Champions League.
