MAS Fes v ASEC Mimosas: How to watch African Champions League tie

The Maghreb de Fes host ASEC Mimosas on Sunday, 18 October 2026, in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the African Champions League.

The meeting at Stade d’Honneur de Meknes brings together two historic clubs from the continent, with both sides aiming to establish an advantage before the return leg and move closer to the group stage.

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 local time in Morocco. That is 20:00 in France and 18:00 in Cote d’Ivoire (GMT).

The match is due to be shown in Morocco on Arryadia TNT and SNRT Live, while viewers in Cote d’Ivoire can watch on RTI La 3. The fixture is also expected to be available through a number of international broadcasting packages, including beIN Sports MENA, Canal+ Sport Afrique and SuperSport, subject to availability in individual countries.

The game marks the Maghreb de Fes’ return to the African Champions League after a lengthy absence. The Moroccan side made a strong start to its continental campaign by overcoming Burkina Faso’s Rahimo FC in the first preliminary round.

Maghreb de Fes took control of that tie with a 4-1 home victory before completing the job in the second leg. A 0-0 draw away from home was enough to secure their progress to the next stage.

ASEC Mimosas had a more demanding route through the opening round. The Ivorian club drew 1-1 away to Togo’s ASC Kara, then finished the tie with a 2-1 victory in Abidjan.

Their domestic form, however, has been less convincing at the beginning of the season. The Yellow and Blacks lost 1-0 to Yamoussoukro FC before drawing 0-0 with Stella Club and 1-1 against AFAD.

Both clubs have a significant continental objective. Maghreb de Fes, winners of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2011, are seeking a return to the upper levels of African football. ASEC Mimosas, who were crowned African champions in 1998, are hoping to reach the group stage again.

The second leg will be played in Cote d’Ivoire, where ASEC Mimosas will look to settle the tie in front of their home supporters.
