Celta linked with Castellon forward Ousmane Camara
Guinean forward Ousmane Camara is the subject of reported interest from Celta, with the 24-year-old currently playing for Castellon.
Camara has made seven appearances in LaLiga2 this season, scoring four goals and providing one assist. He has started 70% of Castellon’s possible league matches and has played 68% of the club’s available minutes.
The centre-forward joined Castellon from AJ Auxerre in August 2024 in a deal worth €500,000. He had previously spent part of the 2023-24 campaign on loan at FC Annecy before returning to Auxerre, helping the French club win the second tier title that season.
Camara is contracted to Castellon until 30 June 2029. His current market value is listed at €2.5m, although there has been no indication of a proposed transfer fee or the stage reached in any discussions with Celta.
A move to Celta would see Camara linked with a LaLiga club while he remains part of Castellon’s squad in Spain’s second tier. His recent scoring record has come after making seven league appearances, with his goals accounting for a significant share of his involvement in the team’s campaign.
For now, Camara remains a Castellon player under a long-term contract.
