Amina Orfi claimed the 2026 Egypt International squash title after beating fellow Egyptian Hania El Hammamy in the women’s final, while Peru’s Diego Elias defeated Mostafa Asal to win the men’s trophy.
Orfi secured her first Egypt International crown with a dominant 3-0 victory over El Hammamy in an all-Egyptian final.
The 39-minute match saw Orfi win 11-4, 11-4, 11-3 as she extended her winning run against El Hammamy to four consecutive matches.
The result also made Orfi the youngest player to win the title.
El Hammamy, who represents Wadi Degla, missed out on the chance to claim the competition for a second successive season. Asal, of Palm Hills, also saw his bid for back-to-back titles ended by Elias.
Elias eventually prevailed in a marathon men’s final lasting 79 minutes.
The Peruvian won 3-0, with the game scores listed as 5-11, 11-5, 11-6, 7-11 and 11-6.
The tournament was held from 6 to 16 October, with total prize money of up to $750,000 across the men’s and women’s competitions.
