TSG Hoffenheim and Besiktas were locked at 0-0 at half-time in their UEFA Europa League league-phase match at the PreZero Arena on Thursday.
The opening 45 minutes were evenly contested, with neither side able to create the decisive breakthrough. Besiktas had a marginally greater share of possession, holding 51% compared with Hoffenheim’s 49%.
Hoffenheim registered five attempts, one of which was on target, while Besiktas managed two shots, including one effort on target.
