Al Masry has called its ordinary general assembly, when members will elect a new board to lead the club until 2030.
The meeting will be held on Friday, 4 December, at the club’s social headquarters in the Al-Dawahi district.
Members will first be asked to approve the minutes of the previous general assembly before considering the board’s report on its work during the financial year ending on 30 June 2026.
The agenda also includes a review of the club’s sporting programmes and work plan for the new financial year, 2026/2027, alongside the report from the auditor.
The assembly will consider the budget and final accounts for the financial year ending on 30 June, as well as the proposed budget for the following financial year.
Members will also be asked to approve the board’s report on the salaries and bonuses of the executive director and financial director.
An auditor will be appointed for the club’s electoral cycle covering 2023-2030.
The election itself will be held to select a new Al Masry board for the 2026/2030 cycle. The board will comprise a president, vice-president, treasurer and four members, in accordance with the club’s statutes.
The final item on the agenda will be consideration of proposals submitted by members within the legally specified timeframe.
Nominations will be open for one week, from Wednesday, 21 October, until Tuesday, 27 October. Applications must be submitted at the club’s social headquarters between 10am and 6pm each day.
Kamel Abu Ali is currently serving as chairman of Al Masry’s board.
