Seydou Dembele makes Ligue 2 debut with Stade de Reims

Seydou Dembele has taken another step in his development after making his first Ligue 2 appearance for Stade de Reims against Nantes.

The young player was named in the starting line-up for the eighth-round fixture, with his coach handing him the opportunity to experience professional league football for the first time. It was an important moment for the Reims player as he faced the demands of the professional game.

Dembele spent 64 minutes on the pitch, gaining valuable experience in the competition. His inclusion from the start represents a significant milestone in his progress and could lead to further opportunities within the Reims squad.

The midfielder, regarded as a “rough diamond” at Stade de Reims in the Marne, will now aim to build on his debut and gradually increase his playing time.

For Dembele, the appearance provides further encouragement to continue working towards establishing himself as a regular member of the club’s professional group.
