AC Milan have identified Adem Zorgane as a possible midfield signing as they begin planning for life after Luka Modric.
The Croatia international is 40 and could leave the Rossoneri at the end of the season, prompting the club’s leadership to examine potential replacements. According to Tuttomercatoweb, Zorgane is among the names being considered as Milan look to renew their midfield options.
Zorgane, 26, currently plays for Union Saint-Gilloise and has continued to build his reputation in Belgium. His progress has attracted increasing attention in Europe, while his international appearances for Algeria have strengthened his profile.
A move to Italy would represent another significant step in the midfielder’s career. However, any negotiations would have to take account of his existing contract with Union Saint-Gilloise, which runs until 2029.
Zorgane is valued at 12 million euros by Transfermarkt. For now, the Algeria international is one of several possibilities under consideration as AC Milan prepare for the potential departure of Modric.
AC Milan will soon face RB Salzburg in their second-round match in the Europa League.
