Zamalek have made a late change to their substitutes’ bench after Adam Kaied suffered a shoulder injury during the warm-up before their Egyptian Premier League meeting with Al Ahly.
Moataz Gamal’s side face Al Ahly shortly in the sixth round of the competition. Kaied has been withdrawn from the squad for the match, with Mohamed Farag taking his place.
Oday El Dabbah has also been left out of the starting XI after suffering from a cold and will begin the game among the substitutes. Ahmed Sherif starts alongside Chico Banza in attack, while Hossam Ashraf is on the bench.
Zamalek’s substitutes are goalkeeper Mohamed Awad, Mostafa El Zenary, Mahmoud Gihad, Ahmed Abdel Rahim “Isho”, Mohamed Farag, Mohamed Hamdy, Nasser Mansy, Hossam Ashraf and Oday El Dabbah.
The starting line-up is:
Goalkeeper: El Mahdy Soliman.
Defenders: Mahmoud Bentayg, Mahmoud Hamdy “El Wensh”, Mohamed Ismail and Omar Gaber.
Midfielders: Mohamed Shehata, Ahmed Rabie, Abdullah El Said and Ahmed Fattouh.
Forwards: Chico Banza and Ahmed Sherif.
