Kylian Mbappe included in Real Madrid squad to face Villarreal

Kylian Mbappe has been included in Real Madrid’s squad for Saturday’s La Liga meeting with Villarreal, despite suffering an injury while on international duty with France.

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has named his players for the eighth-round fixture, with Villarreal due to visit the club at 22:00 on Saturday.

Dean Huijsen, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy and Raul Asencio are all absent from the squad. Mbappe, however, has been selected after returning from the injury sustained during the international break.

Real Madrid are fourth in the La Liga table with 15 points. Villarreal sit ninth on eight points.

Mourinho’s squad is:

Goalkeepers: Thibaut Courtois, Andriy Lunin, Sergio Mestre.

Defenders: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ibrahima Konate, Marc Cucurella, Alvaro Carreras, Antonio Rudiger, Denzel Dumfries.

Midfielders: Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Federico Valverde, Aurelien Tchouameni, Arda Guler, Bernardo Silva, Thiago Pitarch.

Forwards: Vinicius Junior, Endrick, Kylian Mbappe, Carlos Espe, Brahim Diaz, Yan Diomande.
