Premier League: Erling Haaland and Bruno Fernandes among 16 players facing injury doubts

Premier League clubs are preparing to return to action after a three-week international break during which 16 players sustained injuries.

The injuries, ranging from minor to moderate, could rule the players out of league matches scheduled to begin at the start of next week.

European teams played four matches in the UEFA Nations League during the international period, with several leading Premier League players affected.

The sixth round of the Premier League starts at 2:30pm on Saturday, 10 October, when Arsenal host Leeds.

The players reported as injured are:

The 16 players are considered at risk of missing Premier League fixtures when the competition resumes, although the injuries vary in severity.

Manchester City lead the Premier League with 15 points, while Arsenal are second on 12 points.
