Cameroon U20 international Jordan André Emini has joined French Ligue 2 side Saint-Étienne on loan from Cameroonian club Oyili FC for the 2026/27 season.

The 18-year-old striker has completed the move until June 2027, with Saint-Étienne retaining an option to make the transfer permanent at the end of the loan spell.

Born in 2008, Emini has already made an encouraging impression since linking up with Saint-Étienne’s U19 side, scoring three goals in his first two appearances.

His early performances have offered a glimpse of the attacking potential that convinced the French club to bring him into their setup.

The Cameroon youth international is now hoping to use his time in France to continue developing his game and eventually earn an opportunity with Saint-Étienne’s senior team.

Emini expressed his pride at joining the historic French club and outlined his determination to work hard and progress through the ranks.

“I am very proud to be joining such a great club as AS Saint-Étienne. Wearing this shirt means a great deal to me. I want to give my very best at all times. Listen. Work hard. So that one day, I can dream of playing for the first team,” he said.

With his loan move providing an opportunity to gain experience in French football, Emini will be looking to build on his impressive start and establish himself as one of Cameroon’s promising young attacking talents.
