Jamal Musiala steps up Bayern Munich comeback after injury

Jamal Musiala has returned to Bayern Munich training after recovering from injury.

The Germany international was injured before his country’s Nations League League A opener against the Netherlands.

Bayern shared photographs of Musiala taking part in the session on Facebook, alongside the message: “The magician is back in training.”

The club added: “Jamal Musiala continues to make progress towards his return, with running and changes of direction, as well as completing his first training session with the ball.”

Musiala’s next target is a return to competitive action, with Bayern preparing to face Augsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

The German club will then play Norwegian side Viking on 13 October in the second round of the Champions League.

Musiala has made four appearances for Bayern Munich this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist.
