Zamalek are expecting Palestine internationals Adi Dabbagh and Adam Kaid to return to Cairo on Thursday and join the squad’s training camp ahead of Sunday’s league meeting with Al Ahly.
The two sides will meet at Cairo Stadium on 11 October in the sixth round of the league.
According to FilGoal.com, Dabbagh and Kaid are due to report to Zamalek’s camp after completing their international commitments with Palestine.
Dabbagh scored twice as Palestine defeated China 5-0 in a friendly. The forward’s goals took his international tally to 21, strengthening his position as Palestine’s all-time leading scorer.
He will now aim to continue that form for Zamalek when they face Al Ahly in the derby.
Zamalek and Al Ahly are level on 13 points in the league, with Zamalek occupying second place because of their superior goal difference.
Pyramids lead the standings on 15 points.
