Al Ahly’s ordinary general assembly for 2026 will be held at the club’s headquarters in Al Gezira on Friday and Saturday, 6 and 7 November, the club has announced.
The opening meeting is scheduled for Friday, 6 November, with the second meeting taking place on Saturday, 7 November, in line with the procedures and regulations governing the general assembly.
The club also confirmed that its board had approved recommendations submitted by the legal committee during a recent meeting.
Those recommendations cover a number of files and disputes involving the club’s various departments and currently being considered by judicial authorities. The board reviewed the committee’s assessment before formally adopting its recommendations.
“In light of the same recommendations approved by the board, and in recognition of the efforts made by the legal committee to preserve Al Ahly’s rights, the board requested that the committee continue following up all the files that had been reviewed,” the club said in a statement.
“This is intended to strengthen the club’s legal position, while Al Ahly always remains committed to the regulations and the provisions of the law.”
The statement did not provide further details about the individual cases or disputes included in the committee’s report.
On the pitch, Al Ahly began their Egypt Capital Cup campaign with a 5-0 victory against Petrol Asyut in the opening round.
They are preparing to face Zamalek in the next league derby on Sunday.
