Barcelona Women strengthened their overwhelming record against Real Madrid with a historic 7-0 victory at Camp Nou in the 26th meeting between the two sides.
The result was Barcelona’s biggest win in the fixture and further underlined their superiority across all competitions. According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Barcelona have now won 25 of the 26 meetings, with Real Madrid recording one victory and one match ending in a draw.
Barcelona’s dominance is also reflected in the goals scored, with their players having found the net 99 times compared with Real Madrid’s 12.
The gap is even more pronounced in the Spanish league. Barcelona have won 12 of the league meetings, while Real Madrid have won one. In those matches, Barcelona have scored 41 goals and Real Madrid have scored five.
The first league Clasico between the clubs took place on 4 October 2020, when Barcelona won 4-0 at Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium.
Real Madrid’s only victory in the fixture came on 23 March 2025, when they won 3-1 at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
Barcelona’s latest seven-goal margin was not only significant because of its impact on the head-to-head record. It also set a new record for the club’s biggest victory over Real Madrid, surpassing their previous 6-0 success in the second leg of the quarter-finals of the UEFA Women’s Champions League on 2 April 2026.
The latest result leaves Real Madrid facing the scale of the challenge involved in closing the gap on Barcelona, who continue to hold a clear advantage whenever the two sides meet.
