Nigeria name starting XI for Guinea-Bissau clash in 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying

Nigeria have announced their starting line-up for Tuesday’s crucial 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Guinea-Bissau, while the hosts’ team remains to be confirmed.

The Group L fixture is being played at the Stade National du 24-Septembre in Bissau on 29 September 2026, with both coaches selecting their tactical line-ups for the second round of matches.

Nigeria start with goalkeeper Nwabali behind a defence of Bright-Osayi, Onyemaechi, Ajayi and Bassey.

Ndidi and Onyeka are included in midfield, while Iwobi is also named in the starting XI. Lookman, Awoniyi and Adams complete the Nigerian line-up.
