African football: Kenzy Ammoura joins Villarreal as Fallou Fall heads for SC Bastia

Kenzy Ammoura has joined Villarreal, while Senegalese midfielder Fallou Fall is set to leave Olympique Lyonnais to sign for SC Bastia, according to the latest updates involving African footballers on 26 September 2026.

The 18-year-old Algerian forward’s move to Villarreal was announced on the Instagram account of the 360 Football agency. Ammoura, who arrives from Paradou AC, will join the Spanish club’s academy.

Fall, meanwhile, is expected to move from the reserve side of Olympique Lyonnais to SC Bastia, according to Match360. The 20-year-old Senegalese midfielder currently captains Lyon’s reserve team.

He is due to sign a three-year contract running until 2029. The transfer will represent a new stage in Fall’s career, with the player set to continue in Ligue 3 with SC Bastia.

El Bekaye Diakite set for Ethiopia move

Malian central defender El Bekaye Mery Diakite appears unlikely to extend his time with Chemal FC, despite previously being expected to sign a new contract, as reported exclusively by Africafoot.

The 26-year-old, whose contract has expired, has already travelled to Ethiopia and is expected to join a club in the country’s top division, according to Reference14sport.

Wahib El Antary opts for Morocco

Wahib El Antary has chosen to represent Morocco at under-17 level. The 17-year-old, who has Egyptian and Moroccan heritage, plays for Angers and is currently part of the club’s Under-19 team.

According to Maghreb-Foot, El Antary was called up by Egypt’s youth teams in September 2025 but has not received another invitation since the departure of coach Ahmed El Kass.

Morocco had followed the midfielder since he began his career at Angers. He has now accepted a call-up from the Lions of the Atlas to begin his international career with the Moroccan youth setup.

Arezzo end interest in Adam Masina
