Real Madrid set to begin Jude Bellingham contract talks within two weeks

Real Madrid are expected to make Jude Bellingham the next key player in their ongoing contract renewal plans, with an agreement potentially being reached within the next two weeks.

Journalist Matteo Moretto reported that the England midfielder is next in line for a new deal as the Spanish club works to secure the futures of the main players in its project. His comments were reported by Marca.

“Real Madrid will renew Jude Bellingham’s contract – he is next,” Moretto said during an appearance on the La Pizarra programme, confirming that discussions over an extension are already under way.

The proposed agreement could keep Bellingham at Real Madrid until 2030 or 2031, although the final details are still being worked on.

Bellingham joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023 and signed a six-season contract, tying him to the club until the summer of 2029.

Real Madrid now want to extend that commitment, with Bellingham having established himself as one of the central figures in the team since moving to the Spanish capital.
