Hungary v Northern Ireland: Ticket prices, sales details and Nations League guide

Hungary will host Northern Ireland at the Puskas Arena in Budapest in a UEFA Nations League B Group 2 fixture, with supporters able to buy standard tickets through the Hungarian Football Federation’s official MLSZ Tickets service.

The match brings together two European sides competing for valuable points in a closely contested group stage. Here is what fans need to know about ticket availability, prices, form and the recent head-to-head record.

How to buy tickets

The official first-release tickets are being sold through MLSZ Tickets, the Hungarian Football Federation’s ticketing portal. The platform handles standard tickets for Hungary’s home internationals in Budapest.

Fans are advised to register on the website early so they can attempt to secure regular seats when general sales open. Availability may be limited in some sections once the initial allocation begins to sell.

If the standard allocation is sold out, or certain seating areas are no longer available through the official portal, supporters can look to secondary-market platforms such as Ticombo. Tickets on those services should be considered only after the official allocation has been exhausted.

Ticket prices

Standard single-match tickets on the official portal start at about €20 to €30 for general-admission seating categories at the Puskas Arena.

On secondary-market platforms such as Ticombo, prices start at about €55 when the original standard allocation is no longer available.

Hungary and Northern Ireland form

Hungary go into the fixture in positive form, having won four of their past five matches. Their sequence over that period is W-W-D-W-L.

Rossi’s side recorded 3-1 and 2-1 victories over Kazakhstan and Finland respectively in their two most recent games, scoring five goals across those matches. Their only defeat during the five-game run came against the Republic of Ireland in World Cup qualifying, when they lost 3-2 in November 2025.

Hungary scored seven times and conceded five during those five fixtures, underlining their attacking threat while also highlighting some defensive vulnerability.

Northern Ireland’s last five results read W-D-L-W-L. O’Neill’s side beat Guinea 1-0 in June before losing 3-1 to France. Earlier in the year, they drew 1-1 with Wales.

Their World Cup qualifying campaign has also produced mixed results. A 1-0 win over Luxembourg was followed by a 2-0 defeat by Italy. Across their past five matches, Northern Ireland have scored four goals and conceded six.

Recent head-to-head record

The most recent meeting between the teams came in March 2022, when Hungary won 1-0 in a friendly in Belfast.

Hungary also have the stronger overall record across the last five encounters, winning three times. There has been one draw, while Northern Ireland have recorded one victory.

Northern Ireland’s only win in that sequence came in Euro 2014 qualifying, when they beat Hungary 2-1 in Budapest.
