African football transfer news: Samuel Tetteh joins KF Vllaznia as Club Bruges revive Ibrahima Sory Bangoura interest

Ghanaian right-back Samuel Tetteh has joined KF Vllaznia in the Albanian top flight, according to journalist David Stevenson.

The 23-year-old moved to Europe after leaving FC Samartex 1996, where he had spent the previous three seasons. Tetteh originally joined the Samreboi-based club from Tema Youth FC and made 74 appearances for FC Samartex.

He played 18 league matches during the most recent season before completing his move to Albania.

Mauritania international Aboubakar Kamara has also secured a move, joining NSFC in Malaysia on a contract running until the end of the season.

NSFC have recruited the experienced forward to strengthen their attack. The 31-year-old arrives with a career spanning several European and Asian leagues, including spells with Monaco, Dijon, Fulham and Olympiakos.

His international and club experience persuaded the Malaysian side’s sporting management to place him at the centre of their attacking plans.

Meanwhile, Club Bruges have renewed their interest in Ibrahima Sory Bangoura. The Belgian club previously pursued the Guinea international in January, a move reported exclusively by Africafoot, and remain impressed by the midfielder’s qualities, according to Joueurs Guineens.

However, Bangoura’s current club KRC Genk are taking a cautious approach to his future. Genk want to complete a contract extension for the 22-year-old before considering a possible transfer.

Discussions involving the player, Genk and the interested parties are currently under way.
