Ghanaian centre-forward Joseph Junior Kwarteng completes free transfer to Usce U19
Ghanaian centre-forward Joseph Junior Kwarteng has joined Usce U19 from IMT Belgrad U19 on a free transfer, completing his move to the Serbian club on 18 September 2026.
The 18-year-old, who was born in Kumasi, switches clubs within the Omladinska liga after spending part of the 2026-27 season with IMT Belgrad U19. Usce U19 and IMT Belgrad U19 compete in the same Serbian youth league.
Kwarteng’s move gives Usce U19 a forward who plays primarily through the centre of the attack. He joins the club at the age of 18, having previously made the move to IMT Belgrad U19 in February 2026.
Before changing clubs, Kwarteng had made five appearances in the 2026-27 edition of the Omladinska liga Srbije. He had started 67% of the possible matches and played 41% of the available minutes, with no goals or assists recorded.
His appearances amounted to 223 minutes in the competition. He had not received a yellow card, second yellow or red card during those matches.
Kwarteng’s transfer is his second recorded club change in 2026, following his arrival at IMT Belgrad U19 earlier in the year. The latest move keeps him in Serbian youth football and places him at Usce U19 for the next stage of his development as a centre-forward.
The deal was completed without a transfer fee, and no contract expiry date has been specified for his time at Usce U19. Kwarteng is now registered with the club following his switch from IMT Belgrad U19.
The Ghanaian forward’s completed free transfer to Usce U19 was dated 18 September 2026.
