Walid Jerbi joins Saudi Arabia’s Jurash FC on free transfer

Tunisia centre-forward Walid Jerbi has joined Saudi Arabian club Jurash FC from Stade Gabesien on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027, completing his latest move after one season with Stade Gabesien. Jerbi’s arrival gives Jurash an experienced attacking option as the club adds a Tunisian striker to its squad.

Jerbi made the switch to Stade Gabesien from JS Kairouan on 17 September 2025, also without a transfer fee. His move to Jurash follows a year at the Tunisian club and represents the next stage of a career that has included spells with several sides in Tunisia.

His recorded appearances include five matches in the Tunisian Cup, where he scored once, and three Ligue 1 appearances. He played 421 minutes in the cup and 226 minutes in the league. Jerbi operates as a centre-forward and is predominantly right-footed.

Born in Moknine on 30 August 1999, Jerbi began the most recent phase of his career with SC Moknine before joining JS Kairouan. He had moved to SC Moknine from ES Zarzis in June 2024 after the end of a loan spell, having initially joined ES Zarzis from SC Moknine in January 2024.

The transfer continues a sequence of free moves for the striker. His switch from SC Moknine to JS Kairouan and the subsequent move to Stade Gabesien were both completed without a fee, before Jurash secured his services on the same basis.

Jerbi stands 1.85 metres tall and is listed as a centre-forward, the role in which he has featured throughout the available record. His contract at Jurash FC is set to run for the remainder of the 2026-27 season and the following campaign.

Jurash FC have therefore completed the signing of Walid Jerbi from Stade Gabesien, with the Tunisian forward joining on a free transfer and contracted until June 2027.
