Tunisia striker Fayed Ben Hassine joins Olympique Beja on free transfer
Tunisia centre-forward Fayed Ben Hassine has joined Olympique Beja from AS Gabes on a free transfer, strengthening the Ligue 1 club’s attacking options.
The 27-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2028 after completing his move on 18 September. Ben Hassine becomes an Olympique Beja player after a short spell with AS Gabes, whom he joined in January 2026.
Ben Hassine’s career record includes 28 Ligue 1 appearances, six goals and one assist. He has also scored five goals in seven Tunisian Cup matches, with one assist in the competition.
The forward spent the second half of the 2025-26 season with AS Gabes after leaving Abelashhar. His move to the Gabes-based club followed a spell at Abelashhar that began in November 2025, having previously played for EGS Gafsa.
Ben Hassine’s senior career has included a number of clubs in Tunisia. Before EGS Gafsa, he represented CA Bizertin, JS Kairouan, AS Agareb, Sfax Railways and CS Djebeniana, as well as OC Kerkennah.
He joined CA Bizertin from EGS Gafsa in September 2024 on a free transfer. Earlier moves included switches between JS Kairouan and AS Agareb, while his time with Sfax Railways came after leaving CS Djebeniana.
The striker’s recorded market value is €50,000, while his highest listed value has been €125,000. His arrival gives Olympique Beja a forward with experience across Tunisia’s domestic competitions, including Ligue 1 and the Tunisian Cup.
Olympique Beja, who compete in Tunisia’s top division, have secured Ben Hassine’s services without a transfer fee. The player’s new contract keeps him at the club until the end of June 2028.
Ben Hassine has now completed his move from AS Gabes to Olympique Beja on a free transfer.
