Liverpool among Premier League clubs monitoring Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour

Liverpool are among a group of Premier League clubs keeping track of Fiorentina midfielder Cher Ndour, with interest in the Senegal international potentially leading to a move to England in 2027.

Manchester United have also previously been linked with the 22-year-old, while Liverpool’s interest is understood to remain active, according to TEAMtalk. Ndour’s combination of youth and experience across several major European leagues has continued to attract attention in England.

Ndour has already played in four of Europe’s leading domestic competitions during his career. After leaving Paris Saint-Germain, he joined Fiorentina in 2025 and has continued his development in Italy.

A move to the Premier League in 2027 could represent the next stage of his career, although no decision has been made and Fiorentina remain in control of the player’s situation.

Six Premier League clubs tracking Ndour

Liverpool are not the only English club monitoring the midfielder. Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Hull City all made enquiries about Ndour at the start of the summer.

Those clubs continue to follow his progress and could consider making a move if the player becomes open to leaving Fiorentina. The level of interest could give Ndour several options should he decide to pursue a switch to the Premier League.

For now, however, the midfielder remains focused on his time in Florence. At 22, Ndour is regarded as having considerable room for further improvement and intends to continue progressing in Italy before considering his next move.

PSG could benefit from future sale

Paris Saint-Germain could also have a financial interest in any transfer involving Ndour.

When the midfielder moved from the French club to Fiorentina in 2025, Paris Saint-Germain negotiated a clause entitling them to 50% of any profit made from a future sale.

That agreement could become significant if an English club submits a substantial offer. Fiorentina would need to take the clause into account when assessing the financial terms of a potential deal and during any negotiations with an interested club.

Ndour’s immediate priority remains Fiorentina’s campaign. The Italian side are due to face Napoli in their next Serie A fixture, the fifth matchday of the championship.

If Ndour does choose to take on a new challenge in the Premier League in 2027, the number of clubs already monitoring him suggests he is unlikely to lack potential suitors.
