Morocco consider former Mali international Samba Diawara for coaching role

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) is examining the possibility of appointing former Mali international Samba Diawara as an assistant coach with the Morocco national team.

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, Moroccan officials want to bring in the 48-year-old to strengthen the coaching staff of the Atlas Lions.

Diawara’s experience in professional football and coaching has earned him a strong reputation. His tactical understanding and knowledge of African football are viewed as significant assets by the FRMF, which is seeking to further strengthen the national team’s technical team.

Should negotiations prove successful, the former Mali player would offer a complementary profile to the existing Morocco set-up.
