Rahimo FC need three-goal comeback against MAS de Fes in CAF Champions League

Rahimo FC must overturn a three-goal deficit against MAS de Fes if they are to progress in the CAF Champions League, with the two teams having confirmed their starting line-ups for Saturday’s first preliminary-round second leg at Stade du 4-Aout in Ouagadougou.

The Burkinabe side were beaten 4-1 in the first leg in Morocco and now need a decisive victory to keep their African campaign alive. They will be hoping home advantage can help them overturn the result and eliminate MAS de Fes.

Rahimo FC will start with Cire Alassane Traore (16) in goal.

The defensive line consists of Junior Queddi Nota (4), Rodrigue Kere (14), Alassane Coulibaly (25) and Aboudou-Moutalebi Ouro Wetchire (33).

Romaric Sanou (6), captain Adama Konate (17), and Kobana Ouattara (29) form the midfield.

The attacking trio is Issouf Junior Bara (10), Narcisse Abdoul Kabir Ouedraogo (18) and Djamiou Famah (34).

MAS de Fes captain Salaheddine Chihab (16) retains his place as goalkeeper for the visitors.

Marouane Ouhrou (21), Mohamed Jaouab (27), Khafifi Abdelilah (15) and Hamza Ait Allal (22) are named in defence.

The Moroccan club’s midfield features Khalid Baba (7), Oussama Noureddine (6) and Achraf Harmach (8).

Soulaiman Allouch (11), Tshegofatso John John Mabasa (9) and Adam Brika (14) lead the MAS de Fes attack.

Both teams are now in position for the return fixture at Stade du 4-Aout. Rahimo FC will rely on their supporters as they attempt to erase the first-leg deficit and continue their CAF Champions League run.
