Yacine Idriss Diallo re-elected as FIF president for four-year term

Yacine Idriss Diallo has retained the presidency of the Federation ivoirienne de football (FIF), with the list led by the outgoing president elected for a further four-year mandate.

The election brought together the FIF’s different electoral colleges. In Ligue 1, 16 voters took part, with 14 votes recorded. Each of those votes carried a weighting of three, producing 42 weighted votes.

Ligue 2 had 28 registered voters, of whom 21 cast votes. Those votes were weighted at two each, giving a total of 42 weighted votes.

In Division 3, 40 voters participated. Votes from that college were counted at their full value, with each carrying a weighting of one.

The interest groups, which hold five votes, gave 100% of their weighted votes to the list headed by Diallo.

Across the election, all 89 registered voters were recorded as having participated. The ballot included 10 blank papers and five invalid papers.

A total of 123 votes were counted as expressed, from an overall total of 149 weighted votes.
