Blessed Uwadiegwu: Nigerian winger joins A. Bals on free transfer

Nigeria winger Blessed Uwadiegwu has joined Romanian club A. Bals on a free transfer, completing a move that takes the 19-year-old right winger to his new side on 9 September 2026.

Uwadiegwu became a free agent after leaving NK Jesenice on 1 July. He remained without a club until his move to A. Bals was finalised, with no transfer fee attached to the deal.

The left-footed attacker arrives with experience in the Druga Liga, where he made 11 appearances and played 297 minutes. His role is primarily on the right side of the attack, giving A. Bals a winger who can operate from the flank while favouring his stronger left foot.

Born on 1 January 2007, Uwadiegwu is 1.83m tall and holds Nigerian nationality. His move to A. Bals represents the latest step in a career that has included senior football at NK Jesenice and appearances in the Druga Liga.

The transfer was completed after A. Bals agreed terms with the unattached player. Uwadiegwu’s arrival places him within the club’s attacking group at the beginning of the 2026-27 season.

His previous competitive record includes 297 minutes across 11 Druga Liga appearances, while his transfer to A. Bals marks his return to club football after leaving NK Jesenice.

Uwadiegwu has now joined A. Bals as a free agent, with the transfer completed on 9 September 2026.
