Salisbury sign Nigeria-England midfielder Malachi Ogunleye

Nigeria-England midfielder Malachi Ogunleye has joined Salisbury, bringing the 19-year-old central midfielder to the National League South club after a period without a club.

Ogunleye’s move was completed on 8 September 2026. He arrives without a previous club attached to the transfer and becomes part of Salisbury’s squad for their National League South campaign.

The midfielder’s dual nationality gives him links to both Nigeria and England, while his primary position is in central midfield. At 19, Ogunleye joins Salisbury at an early stage of his senior career and will now continue his development within the English non-league system.
