Olympique Dcheira recruit Morocco midfielder Mohammad El Fakih from RCA Zemamra

Morocco attacking midfielder Mohammad El Fakih has joined Olympique Dcheira from RCA Zemamra on a free transfer, completing the move on 5 September 2026.

The 36-year-old, who was born in Casablanca, arrives with extensive experience in Moroccan football and becomes part of Olympique Dcheira’s squad after one season with RCA Zemamra. El Fakih previously played for Moghreb Tetouan before moving to Zemamra in July 2025, also on a free transfer.

El Fakih has operated primarily as an attacking midfielder during his career and is right-footed. His record in the Botola Pro Inwi includes 185 appearances, 42 goals and 14 assists, giving him a substantial background in Morocco’s top-flight competition.

He has also featured in continental and domestic cup football. El Fakih made 14 appearances in the CAF Confederation Cup, scoring five goals, while he has two goals and one assist from five matches in the Coupe du Trone Marocaine.

His career has included spells with several Moroccan clubs. Before joining Moghreb Tetouan, he represented RCA Zemamra, and earlier played for MAS Fes, Olympique Khouribga, AS FAR Rabat, Berrechid, KACM Marrakech and JS Massira. He also spent time outside Morocco with Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli and Al-Arabi, as well as Libyan club Swehly.

El Fakih joined Al-Ahli from MAS Fes on loan in January 2022 for a reported fee of €76,000 before returning to the Moroccan club at the end of that season. He subsequently moved to Al-Arabi in January 2023 on a free transfer, then switched to Swehly in August 2023.

His move to Olympique Dcheira continues a career that began with JS Massira after he left Raja Casablanca’s under-19 setup in 2014. He later made the move to KACM Marrakech, before joining AS FAR Rabat in July 2017 for €200,000.

El Fakih’s current market value is listed at €25,000, while his highest recorded value was €575,000. He now begins his latest chapter with Olympique Dcheira after completing a free transfer from RCA Zemamra.
