PSG set for windfall as Turkish clubs chase Eddy Doue

Former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Eddy Doue could leave Portugal before the transfer window closes, with Trabzonspor and Basaksehir reportedly monitoring his situation.

Both Turkish clubs have identified the Ivory Coast international as a potential midfield addition and are prepared to offer around €6 million for his signature.

A transfer would also bring an unexpected benefit for PSG. When Doue departed France for Portuguese side Estrela Amadora, the Paris club negotiated a 50 percent sell-on clause. That agreement means PSG would receive half of any fee agreed should his current club accept an offer from Turkey.

Doué’s early-season form has strengthened his appeal. The midfielder has produced two assists in his first three Portuguese top-flight appearances, offering an encouraging start that has drawn attention from abroad. His ability to contribute creatively from midfield appears to be a key reason for the interest.

Trabzonspor and Basaksehir now face a decision over whether to formalise their interest before the market shuts. For Doue, a move to the Turkish Super Lig could present a new opportunity to build momentum and secure a more prominent role.

PSG, meanwhile, will be watching developments closely, knowing a sale could generate a useful return without any direct involvement in negotiations.
