Senegal forward Jean Paul Diatta makes fresh Vitkovice loan move

Senegal centre-forward Jean Paul Diatta has joined Vitkovice on loan from Banik Ostrava B, returning to the Czech club for a second spell during the 2026-27 season.

The 19-year-old’s move was completed on 2 September 2026 and takes him from the Czech second-tier side to Vitkovice, who compete in the Moravskoslezska fotbalova liga. His loan runs until 31 December, when he is scheduled to return to Banik Ostrava B.

Diatta previously spent part of the 2025-26 campaign with Vitkovice after moving there on loan from Banik Ostrava B on 4 March 2026. He returned to Banik at the end of that loan on 30 June before making another temporary switch to Vitkovice.

The latest move gives Diatta a return to a club with which he is already familiar, while also placing him in a different competition from Banik Ostrava B. Vitkovice’s league campaign is under way, while their senior side also compete in the Chance Narodni Liga.

Diatta joined Banik Ostrava B permanently from Ostrava Under-19s on 1 January 2026, having moved to the Ostrava youth set-up from Senegalese club Cayor Foot in September 2025. The transfer to Ostrava followed his arrival in the Czech football system and preceded his first loan spell at Vitkovice.

Born on 10 May 2007, Diatta is a Senegalese forward whose primary position is centre-forward. He joins Vitkovice with the temporary move recorded as a loan transfer, and his current agreement with the club is scheduled to end at the close of 2026.

Diatta has therefore completed a second loan move from Banik Ostrava B to Vitkovice, with the spell confirmed through 31 December 2026.
