Bob Murphy Omoregbe joins Pontevedra as Torreense loan move is confirmed

Italy-Nigeria winger Bob Murphy Omoregbe has joined Pontevedra CF from Portuguese club Torreense on loan, completing a move to Spain that runs until 30 June 2027.

The 22-year-old right winger will play for Pontevedra in Primera Federacion – Group I after leaving Torreense, who compete in Liga Portugal 2. Omoregbe’s transfer was completed on 2 September 2026.

Omoregbe, who was born in Novara, Italy, is eligible to represent both Italy and Nigeria. He stands 1.85m tall and is left-footed, with his primary role coming on the right side of the attack.

The move to Pontevedra is the latest step in a career that has included spells in Italy, Serbia and Portugal. Omoregbe joined Torreense from Serbian side Novi Pazar on a free transfer on 1 July 2026, before making the switch to Spain less than three months later.

His time at Novi Pazar followed a free transfer from Milan Futuro in July 2025. Earlier in his career, Omoregbe spent time with Milan’s youth side and had loan spells at Torres, Fiorenzuola and Sestri Levante.

He first moved into senior football with Borgosesia, joining Milan Under-19s in January 2022 for a fee of €100,000. That move was followed by a series of temporary transfers as he gained experience with Torres, Fiorenzuola and Sestri Levante.

Omoregbe arrives at Pontevedra with a market value of €350,000 and is the latest player to move between Torreense and another European club during the 2026-27 season. His arrival also gives the Spanish side a winger whose preferred position is on the right and whose left foot provides a different profile in attack.

The transfer comes after Omoregbe’s brief spell in Portugal, where he was registered for Liga Portugal 2 and the Portuguese Super Cup during the opening stages of the 2026-27 campaign. He now continues his career in Spain under a loan agreement that returns him to Torreense at its conclusion.

Pontevedra have therefore secured Italy-Nigeria winger Bob Murphy Omoregbe from Torreense on loan until 30 June 2027.
